Office of Postdoctoral Affairs

The Graduate School’s Office of Postdoctoral Affairs advocates for postdocs and supports the development of this next generation of early career researchers by enhancing their postdoctoral experience at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, the Flagship of the University of Tennessee System.  The office serves as the administrative home for postdocs.  The office is a critical source of support for postdoctoral scholars and the presence of such an office reflects the institutional commitment to postdocs.  The office serves as a liaison between postdocs and key offices on campus.

Goals

  • establishing an integrated postdoctoral community
  • providing career and professional development opportunities
  • measuring and tracking postdoctoral scholar success

UT PDA Travel Awards

The UT PDA have established a UT PDA Travel Award to defray the costs of attending a scholarly, professional meeting.  Review the UT Postdoc Travel Award instructions and apply for a UT Postdoc Travel Award
