The UT PDA have established a Postdoc Scholar Travel Grant to defray the costs of attending a scholarly, professional meeting. The funding is made possible by a generous partnership with the UT Office of Research, Innovation and Economic Development.
Schedule
Applications reviewed in each cycle are generally intended to support conferences occurring within 1–2 months following the submission deadline
Fall 2026
Application Open: September 1 to November 1
Travel: October 1 to February 28
Award Notification: Approx. October 15 (for applications submitted by October 1)
Approx. November 15 (for applications submitted by November 1)
Spring 2027
Application Open: November 15 to January 5
Travel: March 1 to June 30
Award Notification: January 20
Summer 2027
Application Open: March 15 to May 5
Travel: July 1 to September 30
Award Notification: May 20
