On October 20, 2022, from 5:00–6:30pm on Zoom, Allyson Neal, Clinical Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs for the UT College of Nursing, will be leading a session on well-being in graduate school.
This session, entitled “Cultivating Skills for Well-Being in Graduate School,” will introduce skills and practices students can use to foster well-being during their graduate programs and additionally in these turbulent times. Participants will experience a number of practices with demonstrated efficacy in reducing stress, fostering focus and presence. This session will provide valuable experiential exposure to a set of practices to utilize in their programs and a brief review of the empirical and theoretical foundations of these life skills.
