GPSPD (Graduate and Professional Student Professional Development) is a cross-campus initiative to empower students to pursue their own career pathway, help students develop a flexible view of career options, assist in the building of mentoring networks, advocate for graduate professional development among the campus community, and provide access to tools and training to strengthen skills in teaching, research and career.
Teaching and Learning Innovation
Teaching & Learning Innovation is the university’s home for instructor and educational development, the advancement of experiential learning opportunities for faculty and students, and the facilitation of effective online instruction. TLI can assist graduate students interested in improving their teaching ability through one-on-one consultations or through our UT CIRTL program.
Office of Research and Engagement
The UT Knoxville Office of Research and Engagement drives the campus research enterprise by providing technical expertise in proposal development, faculty development, sponsored programs administration and compliance requirements. The office assists with identifying external funding opportunities and administering internal funding programs.
The University of Tennessee Libraries provides access to the world’s knowledge in print and electronic formats. Research assistance and technology resources are available at three libraries: John C. Hodges Library (open 24 hours a day); Pendergrass Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine Library on the Ag campus, and DeVine Music Library in the Music Center.
