This reading group is for multilingual graduate students from any discipline who are interested in becoming more effective and efficient science writers.
Using Steven Heard’s concise and accessible book, The Scientist’s Guide to Writing, as a starting point, participants will discuss the challenges and rewards of scientific research writing, share practical advice about how to make your scientific writing process more productive and satisfying, and how to develop an effective scientific writing style.
Register in advance for each of the following three meetings, which will all be held via Zoom:

Students who attend Sessions 1, 2, and 3 will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center.
