AI at Work: Experiments on the Workforce Effects of New AI Tools

The AI at Work program advances research on AI’s impact in the workplace by funding field experiments and quasi-experiments. Early-career economists and social scientists can receive up to $200,000 to study AI’s effects on jobs, productivity, and labor markets. Partnering with top researchers, the program supports both descriptive and prescriptive studies to inform AI adoption, training, and policy.
