AI at Work: Experiments on the Workforce Effects of New AI Tools

The AI at Work program advances research on AI’s impact in the workplace by funding field experiments and quasi-experiments. Early-career economists and social scientists can receive up to $200,000 to study AI’s effects on jobs, productivity, and labor markets. Partnering with top researchers, the program supports both descriptive and prescriptive studies to inform AI adoption, training, and policy. Launch Pad: Connecting Faculty to Collaborative Research

Dogwood Arts: Chalk Walk

Market Square

Saturday, April 5, 8 am–5 pm

Thousands of art lovers head downtown each year to experience this live art competition in Market Square. Chalk Walk features over 300 artists and collaborative teams working on-site from 8am-5pm to complete their artwork. Cash prizes and ribbons are awarded to select artists who have created imaginative and inspiring artworks in their age division.
