The Thornton Center is looking to hire qualified tutors to assist students with the understanding of course content and in the development of academic skills. Tutoring at the Thornton Center is a fantastic opportunity for upperclassmen and graduate students who are looking to give back to their university, help others, and to sharpen their knowledge at the same time!
Applicants are not limited to only courses within a specific program and we have a need for tutoring across many disciplines at the university. Tutoring for the upcoming semester is mostly online via Zoom but are always looking for in-person exam reviews as needed.
Thornton Athletic Student Life Center tutor requirements:
- 50 Credit Hours (Or a completed Bachelors)
- 3.0 Cumulative GPA
- Reliable laptop or tablet
- Work schedule based on applicants’ availability
