Are you interested in learning a new language or advancing your language skills? Boren Awards help fund language-focused study abroad programs. Scholarships offer up to $25,000 toward a study abroad program of your choice. Boren is open to all majors and all years. Boren recipients should be interested in working for the US federal government as alumni are required to work in (paid) government positions for at least one year.
On October 27, Mariah Stewart, a Boren representative, will be in Student Union 262A from 11:30am-12:30pm. She will be presenting on Boren Fellowships, and she will be available to answer questions.
Contact the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information. If you know you are interested in a Boren award, fill out the interest form to let us know!
