After all of your hard work and dedication to honing your craft, it’s time to graduate and start the next stage of your life. The Graduate School wishes to help you navigate all of the stages of the graduation process, so that you are able to finish on time and with as little stress as possible. There are forms to complete that signify that each of the requirements of your degree have been met, and in order to help us process these documents, following the deadlines avoids unnecessary delays. And once everything is done, we hope you will join us for Commencement, where our graduates are celebrated before friends, family, and the university.

Tennessee Doctoral Fellow Featured Speaker for Hooding - We are proud to announce our spring 2021 Commencement speaker- Sa'Nealdra Wiggins! Sa'Nealdra moved here in 2013 in pursuit of a graduate degree from UT, after receiving a BS in health education with a concentration in public health from Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently a Tennessee Doctoral Fellow and a trainee in the Maternal and Child Health Nutrition Training program. She is also certified as a Health Education Specialist (CHES) and will sit for the examination to be a registered dietitian following graduation. You can read Sa'Nealdra's full bio on our website at
Preliminary Draft of Thesis/Dissertation Due Feb. 26 - If you are planning to graduate in spring 2021, don't forget that by February 26, you must submit a preliminary draft of your thesis or dissertation online in TRACE for review by the Coordinator of Student Services.
