From Proposal To Award: The Life Cycle Of UT-Battelle

On Thursday September 21 Sarah Gonzalez, Sponsored Programs Coordinator and Shannon Spencer, Sponsored Programs Administrator will give a talk on the life cycle of UT-Battelle.

UT‐Battelle, LLC, was established in 2000 as a private not‐for‐profit company for the sole purpose of managing and operating the Oak Ridge National Laboratory for the U.S. Department of Energy. UT-Battelle was formed as a 50-50 partnership between the University of Tennessee and Battelle Memorial Institute.

This session, which will be from 10:30 am–11:30 am in A004 Blount Hall, will discuss the life-cycle of a UT-Battelle award from the initial proposal conversations to the award being entered into Cayuse SP. We will discuss best practices and common pitfalls
