December 1 is a major deadline for all students intending to graduate this fall. Final theses and dissertations are to be accepted to Trace by 5:00 p.m. In order for your thesis or dissertation to be accepted by this date be sure to submit it prior to the deadline. If you have any questions reach out to thesis@utk.edu.

All doctoral candidates must complete the Survey of Earned Doctorates by this date, as well.

And the Pass/Fail form and Thesis/Dissertation Approval form (if you’re in a thesis or dissertation program) must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. to the Graduate School. For more details, and links to the relevant forms, please check out our graduation deadlines.
