Graduate and professional students will often be challenged academically, socially, and culturally while pursuing their graduate and professional degrees. A valuable resource to navigate these challenges are mentors.
On August 30, from noon to 1pm, Ernest L. Brothers, Associate Dean of the Graduate School, will be presenting “A Conversation on Mentoring.” This session will provide an opportunity for the participants to learn about mentoring relationships, the four phases of mentoring, a mentoring model, cross-cultural mentoring, and networking mentoring. The participants will also learn that mentoring is a dynamic reciprocal relationship, and that there are expectations of both the mentor and the mentee to make the mentoring experience mutually beneficial for both parties.
This session is part of the GPSPD Lunch and Learn Series for fall 2022. Learn more about this series and register!
