On March 2 in the Haslam Business Building, ten more Three Minute Thesis competitors vied for the next four slots in the final competition to be held on April 6 in Hollingsworth Auditorium as part of Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. The four who will be moving on to the finals are: Sujana Chandrasekar (Tickle College of Engineering), Hannah Gunderman (College of Arts and Sciences), Deepika Nambiar (College of Arts and Sciences), and Justin Short (Haslam College of Business).
Once again, the judges had their work cut out for them, as all of the competitors met the challenge of explaining their research in just three minutes, with only one slide. Everyone did very well, providing proof that graduate students at UT are engaging in amazing research projects. Kudos to all participants, and congratulations to these four finalists.
One more semi-final competition to go! Join us on Wednesday, March 7 in 220 Henson Hall at 1:00 p.m. to see who will complete the roster for the final competition.
