Orientations 2025

The New Graduate Student Orientation and the New Graduate Teaching Assistant/Associate Orientation took place the first week in August 2025. The New Graduate Student Orientation was designed to provide all new graduate students with the information they need to get a good start in their program. This program included presentations on financing graduate education and research, student health insurance, professional development, and much more. The New Graduate Teaching Assistant/Associate Orientation was designed to prepare graduate students to succeed as an instructor. There were sessions on developing a teaching practice, library resources for instructors, student conduct, student success, and others.
