Baylee works as an admissions specialist for the Office of Graduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is responsible for supporting students through the application process for any graduate programs at UT.

Baylee earned her bachelor’s degrees in marketing and business management from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She knew she wanted to go into higher education because of her own college access journey, and plans to earn a graduate degree in the field in the future. She worked for College Advising Corps in Ashe County, NC, right after graduation and most recently comes to our office from North Carolina State University where she was an Admissions Counselor.

Western North Carolina will always be home but she is so excited to be in East Tennessee and to become a part of the Vol community. Being from Appalachia is a huge part of her identity, and there is something so full circle about working on Rocky Top now because she was a competitive clogger for her whole childhood.

In Baylee’s free time, she enjoys going to concerts (take a guess at how many), exploring new *local* restaurants and coffee shops, reading, and being outdoors. She has two cats and loves discovering new music artists and local artists!
