Diversi-Tea is part of an ongoing effort to facilitate communication among faculty and staff about issues related to inclusive teaching practices. In monthly sessions sponsored by Teaching and Learning Innovation, faculty and staff will be given the opportunity to learn from one another and engage in dialogue about the various ways of incorporating inclusive teaching practices. The next Diversi-Tea will be on February 22 from 3:30–5:00 p.m. in the Frieson Black Cultural Center and the topic will be “Assessing Your Cultural Competency: Self-Reflection for Inclusive Practice in the Classroom and Beyond.” Be sure to register for the workshop, if you plan to attend.
