After all of your hard work and dedication to honing your craft, it’s time to graduate and start the next stage of your life. The Graduate School wishes to help you navigate all of the stages of the graduation process, so that you are able to finish on time and with as little stress as possible. There are forms to complete that signify that each of the requirements of your degree have been met, and in order to help us process these documents, following the deadlines avoids unnecessary delays. And once everything is done, we hope you will join us for the Graduate Hooding Ceremony, where our graduates are celebrated before friends, family, and the university.
If you are in a program requiring a thesis or dissertation and intend to graduate fall 2024, September 20 is the deadline to submit a preliminary draft online in TRACE for review by the Coordinator of Student Services. Preliminary drafts do not need to be complete.
Hosted by the Coordinator of Student Services, Abby Sherman, the Format Chat workshop features a presentation on the Graduate School’s thesis and dissertation formatting requirements along with an overview of processes, forms/deadlines, common errors and helpful resources.
