
Kriza Calumba is a doctoral student in food science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is graduating in May 2026, and has shared about her experience at UT!
She dedicated her time as a graduate student to scientific communication, research, and the community found in graduate spaces. Kriza was involved with various research and scientific engagements including the Three Minute Thesis competition, Graduate Student Research Awards, and the Institute of Food Technologists, Inc. Graduate Research Video Competition.
