Join us at the McClung Museum for an hour of crafting! Drop in with any fiber art or craft-related project and join us for an hour of creativity on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month! Bring your work in progress, or learn to crochet, knit, or embroider with materials that we have on hand. All skill levels welcome. The craft circle takes place every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Funding for the McClung Museum’s educational programming has been provided by the Knox County Tourism Consortium.

International House International Coffeehouse

Every first and third Wednesday of the month during the fall and spring semesters, the I-House hosts an International Coffeehouse. This program provides a casual atmosphere for students, staff, and scholars to come together and enjoy international refreshments while chatting with new friends from around the world!  Each International Coffeehouse is a partnership with an international student organization or group that features their country, region, or cultural group by providing a locally brewed coffee or traditional tea paired with a small taste of local food.

End your week with gentle yoga at the McClung Museum. Enjoy breathing, relaxing movements, and stretching, with some calm, meditative moments to ease you into your Friday. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring a yoga mat. Forgot your mat or don’t have one? No problem! The museum has a limited supply of mats to loan. No experience is necessary. 
About the Instructor: Megan Fields just celebrated her 20th anniversary at UT and currently serves as the Director of Public Speaking.  She also lives on campus as a sorority house director and enjoys supporting students.  In her free time, she teaches yoga and meditation and enjoys reading and hiking.  Her life goal is to share mindfulness practices to stay grounded in this fast-paced, distracted culture.
