Learning how to communicate your research is invaluable in terms of your professional development and can be an important part of your career as a graduate student and beyond. Join us in this four-week virtual program to develop your written, visual, and spoken communication skills. This program brings together GPSPD partners from the Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center, the UT Libraries, and the Graduate School to help you as you answer the question “What’s Your Work About?”
Support Available for the 9th Annual Faculty Women of Color in the National Academy
The Division of Diversity and Engagement is pleased to sponsor complimentary conference registration to selected graduate students for the 9th Annual Faculty Women of Color in the Academy Conference that will be held on April 9-10, 2021. The virtual conference is an excellent professional development opportunity that provides women of color with a forum to network, engage, and learn with peers from across the country.
Recent PhD Graduate Receives McKinley Award
For Naijia Hao and countless others, the spring 2020 semester ended abruptly and without the usual fanfare and celebration typically associated with completing a PhD program. Hao didn’t even get to say goodbye to many of her friends and colleagues before she left Knoxville for New Mexico to begin a post-doctoral research associate position.
