Jake Carr serves as the Graduate Student Services Specialist in the Graduate School at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In this role, he oversees the daily operations of the front office, providing support to graduate students through email, walk-in consultations, and phone inquiries. His responsibilities also include assisting the Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Student Services, managing the Graduate Student Travel Fund, and supporting the day-to-day functions of other Graduate School staff members.

Prior to joining the Graduate School, Jake held positions as a teaching assistant in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EEPS), and as a student worker in both the Vols Academic Success Center and Student Disability Services. He earned his Master of Science in Geology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

A Tennessee native from Seymour, Jake enjoys spending his free time reading or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains
