Courtney Brown serves as the Coordinator of Outreach, Events, and Engagement for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Graduate School. In this role, her focus is planning and optimizing the Graduate School’s events, coordinating with campus partners, vendors, and service providers to create meaningful experiences. She also supports outreach and engagement initiatives by organizing programs that support engagement among graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, alumni, and campus partners.

Brown is a first-generation UT Knoxville alumna with a bachelor’s degree in communications, concentrating in public relations, and a minor in business administration. Since graduating in 2023, she has worked in research administration at UT Knoxville, supporting events, coordinating social media efforts, graphic designing, and calendaring for the executive director for Place-Based Initiatives. 

She’s passionate about supporting her team, the UT community, and the current and future graduate students and post-doctoral scholars she serves. Go Vols!
