Catherine serves as an admissions specialist for the Office of Graduate Admissions. Her role is to support prospective students of graduate programs at UT navigate the application process. She strives to make the process more accessible and empowering for students from all walks of life rather than intimidating.

Catherine is a native of Peekskill, NY. She earned her Bachelor of Science in geology, with a minor in classical Latin language, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After this, she completed post-bachelor internships through the Department of Energy’s Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship Program at Brookhaven National Lab. Her love of higher-education outreach and admissions work began as an admissions assistant for the School of Education at Hunter College in NYC, where she worked with prospective students to navigate their career paths. She is passionate about promoting welcoming, accessible, creative spaces in both the geosciences and higher education programs.

When she’s not in the office, Catherine enjoys gardening, crocheting, playing video & board games, and visiting with family and friends.
