New Webinar Series: So You Want to Go on the Job Market – Strategies for Applying and Negotiating Your First Major Job

The Division of Diversity and Engagement is pleased to offer a three-part Graduate and Professional Student Webinar Series this semester. The goals of this series are to enhance resilience among graduate and professional students as they navigate their respective programs, provide a set of practices for demonstrating professionalism in various contexts, and develop skills as they apply for and negotiate job offers.

During this final session, students will learn best practices for writing cover letters, navigating their first interviews, and negotiating salaries for their first job. It will focus on faculty and staff positions in academia as well as corporate, government, and nonprofit roles.

The next session will take place virtually from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 8th.
