The Center for Health Education and Wellness announces “Communication & Healthy Relationships at Your First Job—A Panel and Q&A”, to be held on Friday, March 19 from noon to 1:00 p.m.
You’ve got an amazing resume and cover letter. You aced your interview and now you’ve landed your first internship or professional job. The relationships you build with the people you work with will improve your happiness at work and help you be successful now and in the future- so how can you make sure those relationships are positive?
It starts with healthy communication! Join College of Communications and Information professor Joan Rentsch and UT Ombudsperson Lisa Yamagata-Lynch for a moderated panel and Q & A about how to communicate in professional settings. We’ll address navigating conflict, advocating for yourself, and negotiation strategies.
Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend.
