The Office of Research and Engagement and the Tickle College of Engineering have partnered to host a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) awareness workshop on May 14, 2019, in the Toyota Auditorium at the Howard H. Baker Jr Center for Public Policy. Several funding agencies require mandatory training in RCR. ORE is in the process of revising policies and procedures to make RCR training mandatory for all funded investigators and their research teams. This workshop will help meet these mandatory requirements. Lunch will be provided.

The workshop will include guest speaker Tiffany McKerahan who works in Author Engagement and Support from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, who will address the current expectations associated with authorship, citation, and publication practices.
