Virginia Tech is now accepting applications for their annual Future Faculty Development Program, an intensive two-day program for doctoral candidates and post-doctoral scholars traditionally underrepresented in their fields who are interested in entering academic careers in the next year.

In November 2018, Virginia Tech plans to bring a cohort of approximately 30 to their main campus in Blacksburg, VA for an all-expense-paid workshop that includes interaction with host departments, workshops such as negotiating job offers and adjusting to life as a new faculty member, and plenty of opportunities to network with faculty in research areas of interest to participants.
