Third Annual Fleming-Morrow Distinguished Lecture in African-American History

On March 1, 2018 from 5:30–7:00 p.m. in Strong Hall Auditorium B-001, the Third Annual Fleming-Morrow Distinguished Lecture in African-American History will be delivered by Thavolia Glymph. Thavolia Glymph is professor of history, faculty research scholar of the Population Research Institute, and faculty affiliate of the Program in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies at Duke University. Her lecture is entitled “Against and Archive of Death, Erasure, and Evacuated Language: Writing the History of Black Women Refugees in the Civil War.” Download the flyer for more information.
