Teaching Positions for Graduate Students in the SEU English Immersion Summer Camp

Update: The deadline for applications has been extended to February 14. The Center for International Education (CIE) and Confucius Institute at the University of Tennessee (CI@UT) are accepting applications for teaching positions in the SEU English Immersion Summer Camp. This program is designed to build upon the English language skills of Southeast University (SEU)’s students in an effort to strengthen their confidence in intercultural communications. Southeast University, located in Nanjing, is one of China’s premier universities and is UT’s Confucius Institute partner. This is a unique opportunity for UT participants to gain international experience in a casual setting while working within the Chinese educational system and exploring Chinese culture with SEU university students.

The camp will take place from June 30–July 14, 2018 and the deadline for applications is February 5. UT graduate students, faculty and staff are eligible to apply. While participants will be responsible for airfare, visa fee, insurance, administrative fee, and personal expenditures, they will receive free on-campus housing, meals and a stipend provided by SEU.
