21st Century Cures: Southeast Conference Accepting Abstracts

The University of Tennessee will host the second annual 21st Century Cures: Southeast Conference in March 2018. This year’s conference theme is Using Big Data to Overcome Health Disparities, and the event will feature two tracks: Cancer Care and Outcomes, and Social Determinants of Health.

This event will facilitate networking among scientists and with NIH program officials, allow researchers to learn about specific funding programs, and create opportunities to share scientific insights and perspectives in a multidisciplinary setting.

UT’s Office of Research and Engagement has initiated a call for abstracts for those interested in displaying research posters during the event. Submissions are accepted from researchers, faculty, and graduate students from a variety of traditional biomedical fields and nontraditional fields, such as geography. The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2017, by 5:00 p.m.
