Series About Inclusive Teaching Practices

Diversi-Tea is a new initiative by the Teaching and Learning Center, and is part of an ongoing effort to facilitate communication among graduate students, faculty and staff about issues related to inclusive teaching practices. In monthly sessions, participants will be given the opportunity to learn from one another and engage in dialogue about the various ways of incorporating inclusive teaching practices. The schedule is:

  • Thursday, September 14—Self-regulation and study skills instruction for diverse learners
  • Thursday, October 12—Difficult dialogues and how to handle incivility in the classroom
  • Thursday, November 9—To Be Determined
