The application for the Boren Fellowship for International Study is available now. Boren Fellowships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide significant funding for U.S. graduate students interested in working in the federal government to study less commonly taught languages in world regions underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East: Get the basics on this fellowship. Fellowships provide up to $24,000 for overseas study beginning no later than June 1, 2017. If you are interested in applying for a Boren Fellowship, your application must be endorsed through the UT Office of National Scholarships & Fellowships.
