On November 2nd, from noon until 1:00 p.m. and on November 3rd, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Series continues with the “Publication Practices and Responsible Authorship” workshop. The objective of this training series is to provide awareness and application of professional norms and ethical principles in the performance of all activities related to scientific research, including mechanisms to promote honesty, accuracy, efficiency and objectivity in research. Each of these sessions will be held in room A004 of Blount Hall, the home of the Office of Research & Engagement. As many sessions as possible will be offered twice or with an alternative session that can substitute for certificate credit. In order to receive the certificate, graduate students must attend five out of the six topics in the semester or the suggested alternative session for those topics. Pizza will be served, and discussion is encouraged! Be sure to register at ORE.
