The RCR Lunch & Learn Series will resume September 28th and continue throughout the fall with six topics. The Office of Research and Engagement, in collaboration with the Graduate School and the University Libraries are proud to offer this series providing comprehensive and accessible training in Responsible Conduct of Research to our campus population. Topics will consist of Introduction to Proposal Development, Data Management Plans and Best Practices, Plagiarism and Tools for Prevention, Publication Practices and Responsible Authorship, Mentor/Trainee Responsibilities, and PI/Graduate Student/Staff Responsibilities.
This semester, while all are welcome, the sessions are targeted toward graduate students with an interest in pursuing research, and the Office of Research is offering its first Responsible Conduct of Research Education Participation certificate for use on CV’s and application documents. Also new this fall, every topic in the series or an alternative session on that topic will be offered twice in order to increase the capability of our audiences to attend. Details on the sessions and the certificate can be found on the Training and Workshops page. All of the RCR Lunch & Learn sessions will be held in room A004 of Blount Hall. Pizza will be served!
