Fellowship Programs in Germany and Russia

Two fellowship programs have opened their application season recently, for graduate students who have recently graduated, or will be graduating soon.

The Alfa Fellowship Program is a high-level professional development initiative placing up to 18 American, British, and German citizens per year in work assignments at leading organizations in Russia in the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, public policy, and related areas. Key goals of the Alfa Fellowship Program are expanding networks of American, British, and German professionals, developing greater intercultural understanding, and advancing knowledge of Russian affairs in the West. The application deadline is December 1. The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is a distinguished transatlantic initiative that offers fifteen accomplished Americans the opportunity to complete a comprehensive professional development program in Germany. The program is fully funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, one of the largest foundations in Germany, with the goal of fostering a community of American leaders who have firsthand experience in the political, economic and cultural environment of Germany and the European Union.  The application deadline is November 1.  For more information and to review eligibility requirements, please visit: www.culturalvistas.org/bosch.
