GRA Position in the Graduate School

Now Hiring The Graduate School is seeking to fill an open 12-month Graduate Research Assistantship position that includes a tuition and fee waiver, health insurance, and stipend. The position requires a currently enrolled graduate student in good standing who is able to commit 20-hours per week to the assignment. Duties include the following: conducting library/computer research for materials in support of the work of the Graduate School; assisting with the preparation of materials for meetings, conferences and workshops; participating as needed in graduate and career fair recruitment; data collection and analysis; and working on other assignments as needed for projects developed by the Dean.

Strong oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Proficiency with PowerPoint and SharePoint are preferred skills.   1. I saw this listing on Tuesday and got to the end and realized that the deadline had just passed. Seeing as it is still posted, I figured I would check to make sure you are not still accepting applicants. I graduated from UTK in Economics in 2010 and will be starting the MS of Ag Econ on Wednesday.

    1. Priority will be given to those who submitted their application by the deadline, but if you’d like to submit an application, we will keep it on file.
