CEM is hosting a symposium on May 23 and 24 focusing on the One Health movement. The symposium was founded in 2007 by the Comparative and Experimental Medicine graduate program and has grown exponentially since that time.
The symposium centers around 10 minute talks by presenters, but there are also invited speakers who will be giving one-hour talks:
- Susan Kutz, DVM, PhD, Associate Professor of Ecosystem Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Calgary
- Jonathan M. Irish, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Cancer Biology, Vanderbilt University
- Suzie Allard, MSLS, PhD, Associate Dean for Research; Director, Center for Information & Communication Studies; Professor, College of Communication & Information, University of Tennessee
All events are free, but attendees are asked to register by May 18 in order to help them plan.
