There are two fellowships that were announced earlier this semester which have deadlines that are coming up soon. The U.S. Department of Energy is accepting applications for the Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program. The goal of this program is to prepare graduate students for STEM careers that are important to the Department of Energy by providing awards to outstanding U.S. graduate students to pursue part of their dissertation research at a DOE laboratory. The deadline for applications to this program is May 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) of the National Academies’ Transportation Research Board is also accepting applications for their program, which encourages applied research on airport and related aviation systems. The deadline for this program is May 15, 2016 for applications to be submitted electronically. If you are interested, be sure to look over the application requirements.
