Graduation Information for Graduate Students
For specific degree requirements, consult individual program descriptions in the Graduate Catalog. A student planning to graduate must submit forms to the Graduate School, the first forms due in the semester prior to graduation.

Related to graduation are the commencement and graduate hooding ceremonies held in fall and spring terms. There is no ceremony in summer term. Summer graduates may participate in the fall graduate hooding ceremony.
Since your diploma will be sent to the permanent address, please be sure to visit MyUTK to verify or update the permanent address for accuracy. This will ensure that your diploma is mailed to the correct permanent address. All permanent address changes should be made no later than a week prior to the diploma mailing period.
