NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Deadlines Approaching
The GRFP supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions. The program provides up to three years of graduate education support, including an annual $34,000 stipend. If you are considering applying, you should visit the NSF GRFP applicant information page. Deadlines are fast approaching for those applying for fall 2019:

Graduate Student Senate Travel Awards Deadlines
If you’re a graduate student planning to travel to a professional meeting in fall 2018, you may want to consider applying for a Graduate Student Senate Travel Award. These awards, distributed three times a year, are made on the basis of both need and merit, and allow for partial reimbursement of transportation, lodging, and conference expenses. For travel between September 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018, the deadline to apply is August 27. You can get more information about the awards and apply at the Graduate Student Senate website.
